Wool Blankets

Wool blankets are the reason I have a very wide loom. To me, a wool blanket signifies warmth, comfort, and ritual, whether the user wraps up in one to read a book or watch a movie, or just pulls it onto their lap for a tea or coffee break. When not in use, a Cariboo Handwoven wool blanket looks beautiful folded up or tossed over the back of a chair or couch.

Blanket codes are:

Starting with K - 100% wool unless specified

Starting with KH - includes ~50% handspun wool which gives a slightly heavier blanket

Starting with KS - Woven with a finer, softer Shetland wool unless specified

Photos below show what's available in my studio or elsewhere. And I often have more blankets in my studio not shown here, so please feel free to enquire. Click on each blanket to see its number, materials, dimensions, and price. And please email me if you’re interested in purchasing or if you'd just like more information.

Your blankets are impossibly wonderful.

Judging from the warmth and relief I enjoyed when I finally found your blanket on Wednesday, you will have ongoing demand, but your work is too good - they don’t wear out, and I am so content with the blanket that I don't need anything else!  - A
